Katherine is a Graphic & Communication Design professional with 20 years experience in graphic & visual design, creative direction, institutional branding, website management & design, and marketing & communications. She's designed and developed websites and communication strategies for Josh Simpson Glass, Berkshire Immigrant Center, Berkshire Museum, Berkshire Agricultural Ventures, and Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield's Public Library. Katherine was the Creative Director for Jacob's Pillow, an internationally-acclaimed dance festival and year-round center for dance, where she offered a soup-to-nuts approach that supported that institution's many unique arms—The Festival, Development & Membership, Community Engagement, The School & Intern Programs, Archives, Programming, Marketing & Special Events—while ensuring everything was fresh, engaging, and, most importantly, on-brand.
Katherine possesses an MFA in Fine Arts with concentrations in sculpture and ceramics, as well as a BFA with a double major in Mixed Media and Art History. Past roles include Professor of Fine Art at Long Island University and Director of Museum Programs at Hillwood Art Museum. She currently lives in Western Massachusetts.
