Katherine is a Graphic & Communication Design professional with 20+ years experience in graphic & visual design, creative direction, institutional branding, website management & design, and marketing & communications. She's designed and developed websites and communication strategies for Josh Simpson Glass, New Bedford Whaling Museum, Berkshire Immigrant Center, Berkshire Agricultural Ventures, Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield's Public Library, and Berkshire Museum; and created digital and print design for BODYTRAFFIC LA, Barrington Stage, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and others.
Katherine was the Creative Director for Jacob's Pillow, an internationally-acclaimed dance festival and year-round center for dance, where she offered a soup-to-nuts approach that supported that institution's many unique arms—The Festival, Development & Membership, Community Engagement, The School & Intern Programs, Archives, Programming, Marketing & Special Events—while ensuring everything was fresh, engaging, and, most importantly, on-brand.
Katherine possesses an MFA in Fine Arts with concentrations in sculpture and ceramics, as well as a BFA with a double major in Mixed Media and Art History. Past roles include Professor of Fine Art at Long Island University and Director of Museum Programs at Hillwood Art Museum. She lives in Western Massachusetts.
